BENGALURU, 15 SEPT
Central Crime Branch (CCB)
conducted a raid in Parappana Agrahara Jail on Sunday, seizing 18 mobile phones
from notorious rowdy sheeter Wilson Garden Naga and his associates. This raid
comes in the wake of a viral photo that caused widespread outrage, showing
accused Darshan receiving royal treatment at Bengaluru Central Jail. The image,
which also featured Wilson Garden Naga, raised serious concerns about
corruption and mismanagement within the prison system.
According to a press release from
the City police, Naga was allegedly using the confiscated mobile phones to
issue threats from within the jail. Along with the phones, CCB officials also
seized drugs and money that were reportedly being used to facilitate criminal operations
behind bars.
The raid was carried out following
intelligence reports that Naga continued his illegal activities while
incarcerated. Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayanand has ordered an internal
probe into the issue. He instructed Additional Commissioner of CCB
Chandragupta, to conduct a thorough investigation and submit a detailed report
on the situation inside the jail. Salar News
