Cricket Australia says triple century maker Bob Cowper has died at age 84

  • Bob Cowper, who scored Australia's first Test triple century in 1966 at the MCG, has died aged 84, Cricket Australia confirmed on 11 May. He played 27 Tests from 1964–68, averaging 46.84. In 2023, he received the Medal of the Order of Australia.
