Started in 2021, Salar Digital English Daily and Website, henceforth referred to as Salar News, is part of the Centre for Research and Communication (CRC) which runs a host of platforms specialising in media and communications.
Salar News was started with an aim to introduce the concept of progressive journalism and uphold the highest standards of journalism ethics. Salar News is the sister concern of Daily Salar, which is one of the oldest Urdu paper in the country. Started in 1964 by renowned Urdu writer Mahmood Ayaz, the daily is simultaneously published from Bengaluru, Hubballi and Kalaburagi and has considerable readership across the masses.
