Compensation provided to farmers affected by electrocution

Dr Shailendra Beldale, MLA for Bidar South, distributed compensation cheques to the families of farmers who tragically lost their lives due to electrocution. A total of Rs 4 lakh was disbursed, with Rs 2 lakh awarded to the families of each of the two deceased farmers. Additionally, a cheque for Rs 1 lakh was provided to the owner of two oxen that perished in an electric accident. The distribution took place at the MLA’s office in Bidar city, facilitated by GESCOM, the local electricity board. Prakash from Marjapur M village died while working in his field, while Jai Bheem from Yadlapur village was electrocuted at his home.
