US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at his official residence, Cauvery and BJP MP Tejasvi Surya in Bengaluru on Tuesday.

During his meeting with Siddaramaiah and other officials, Gor held discussions of mutual interest, according to a statement by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).

"Karnataka values its engagement with global partners and remains committed to strengthening international cooperation", the statement said.

Earlier, Surya termed Bengaluru as the “crown jewel” of the India-US partnership as he welcomed Gor to the City.

“Gor brings uncommon energy and dynamism to diplomacy, and a true belief in India-US's limitless potential. A late-night Namma Auto ride is the real Bengaluru experience,” Surya stated on X.
