BENGALURU, 21 OCT

The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) reported on Tuesday that its Nandini sweets brand sold 1,100 metric tonnes, generating a turnover of Rs 46 crore during the Dasara and Deepavali festival season.

This marks a 38 per cent rise in turnover compared with last year, setting a new record for the cooperative dairy network. KMF had targeted 1,000 metric tonnes for 2025, following last year’s sale of 725 metric tonnes, which brought in Rs 33.48 crore.

The federation attributed the success to meticulous pre-festival planning and coordination with its member milk unions to meet growing festive demand. “Achieving 1,100 metric tonnes of sweets, resulting in Rs 46 crore turnovers, is a proud milestone for KMF and our member unions,” it said, emphasising the trust and quality that Nandini products have built over the years.

KMF procures around one crore litres of milk daily from farmers across Karnataka and sells nearly 65 lakh litres of milk, curd, and UHT milk every day across the state and beyond. The Nandini brand offers over 175 dairy products, including ghee, butter, paneer, milk powder, sweets, and beverages, available in Karnataka, several other Indian states, and select overseas markets.

“This achievement reflects the dedication and unity of Karnataka’s dairy farming community,” the federation added.
