Miscreants abuse teachers in school; 3 arrested

Three arrested for abusing teachers inside a government school in Hunasagi; police launched a manhunt for other miscreants after a disturbing classroom intrusion.

HUNASAGI, 26 JULY


A case has been registered against some people for allegedly entering a government primary school in Revu Nayak Tanda in Hunasagi in Yadgir and verbally abusing teachers during school hours.


When the teachers were teaching the students, a few miscreants entered the school rooms and began addressing the teachers in abusive language.


The miscreants also asked the school children some questions.


The teachers filed a complaint with the police.  Yadgir SP Prithvi Shankar and Hunasagi CPI Ravikumar visited the school on 25 July. 


The police have arrested three accused, Nagesh, Kumar and Sanjay. They were remanded to judicial custody.


A manhunt was launched to nab the rest of the miscreants. 


DDPI Channabasappa Mudhol  said that a teacher of the school had told him that he was afraid and requested for a transfer to a different school.  He was soon transferred to another school and a new teacher was appointed in his place. 


Field education officer Yallappa Kadlura said that around 35 children were present in the school when the incident took place.
