BENGALURU, 11 JULY

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has partnered with the Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences (CeNS) to promote science education through the establishment of the HAL Advanced Academic Initiation Centre. A Memorandum of Agreement was signed by HAL's General Manager (HR), Pradeep Kumar, and CeNS Director, Prof BLV Prasad, as part of HAL's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. DK Sunil, CMD of HAL, highlighted that this initiative aims to enhance scientific outreach, particularly to students in rural areas with limited exposure to advanced scientific concepts. Prof Prasad commended HAL’s efforts, stating the centre will facilitate hands-on demonstrations of scientific principles to larger student groups. Located at CeNS’ Arkavathi Campus in State, this centre will be part of the Vigyaani Vidyarthi Vichar Vinimay (V4) programme, which has so far reached over 20,000 students from 200 institutions.
