Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Friday dismissed reports of bickering in the ruling Congress in the State.

He said this while addressing the media during a programme organised to commemorate the 516th birth anniversary of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda at the Vidhana Soudha in the City

Siddaramaiah also asked people to ignore Cooperation Minister KN Rajanna’s statement that there were many power centres in the Congress. Rajanna had also said that there would be “revolution in the government” after September.

The Chief Minister clarified that Rajanna only mentioned there may be developments, not that anything specific would happen.

“Where’s internal bickering? All that Rajanna has said is that there are developments. He did not say that such and such things will happen. It would be better to ignore his statement,” Siddaramaiah said.

"There is no internal dispute in party," he said on KN Rajanna's remarks about possible political changes.

Similarly, DeputyChief Minister DK Shivakumar dismissed Rajanna’s  statements.

"I am not aware of this matter. I will speak to him and let you know afterwards. In any case, you should ask him directly."

Meanwhile, Minister MB Patil rubbished the claims, asserting the structure and discipline of the party.

“The Congress is very disciplined; it runs on principles. There is going to be no revolution in the party,” he said in Vijayapura on Friday.
