Two including NSUI Vice President killed in road mishap in Mangaluru
NSUI leader Omshri Pujari and Aman Rao died in a car crash near Mangaluru while two others were seriously injured in the late night accident

MANGALURU, 18 JUNE
Two youths, including prominent National Students' Union of India (NSUI) leader Omshri Pujari, were killed in a tragic road accident late Tuesday night on National Highway 66, near Jeppinamogaru. The other victim, Aman Rao, was a resident of Kadri in Mangaluru.
Reports suggest the car was travelling at high speed when the driver lost control and collided with a road divider. The group was en route from Talapady to Mangaluru.
In addition to the fatalities, two other occupants, Vamshi and Ashiq, sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment in the ICU at a local hospital. A fourth passenger, Italian national Jerry, suffered only minor injuries.
Both deceased were affiliated with the Congress party. Police confirmed that Omshri and Aman unfortunately succumbed to their injuries before reaching the hospital. Eyewitnesses reported that the vehicle was speeding towards Mangaluru from Tokottu when the accident occurred.
A case has been registered at the Mangaluru South Traffic Police Station, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
