In a move aimed at speeding up the recruitment process of pourakarmikas, a real-time dashboard will soon be launched on the Seva Sindhu portal to track the current status of appointments, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) said in a notification on Thursday.

According to BBMP Special Commissioner for Administration, Naveen Kumar Raju, the Directorate of Electronic Delivery of Citizen Services (EDCS) has been instructed to create and deploy the dashboard within four days.

The dashboard will provide transparent and up-to-date information on the progress of the recruitment and documentation process, particularly the uploading of the verification certificates—a key step in confirming the eligibility of applicants.

As part of the ongoing recruitment drive, 12,692 pourakarmikas are set to be appointed across City. Of these, 6,000 posts fall under the general category, while the remaining 6,692 are reserved. So far, verification certificates of only 700 candidates have been uploaded.

The BBMP aims to upload 5,000 certificates by the end of May, officials said. Once the dashboard is live, it is expected to bring greater accountability and accelerate the completion of the recruitment process.
