French Patisserie contest returns to City
The third French Patisserie competition with chefs from five cities will be held in Bengaluru from 13 to 19 May

The third edition of the French Patisserie competition, organised by the Consulate General of France, will be held from 13 to 19 May in Bengaluru, a statement said. The French Consulate on Wednesday said the competition celebrates the excellence of French pâtisserie and highlights the strong culinary ties between France and India. This year, around 50 pâtisserie chefs from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kolkata are competing in the semi-finals in Bengaluru. It will be evaluated by Consul General of France Marc Lamy, Chef Manu Chandra and Vianney Meynier, head of the agritech department at Business France. The top 16 finalists will then compete in the grand finale on 10 June, hosted at Le Cordon Bleu Gurugram in Gurgaon the statement said.
