Central Bengaluru to face power cuts today

BENGALURU, 12 APRIL
Several areas in the city will face a scheduled power outage
on Sunday, 13 April, due to maintenance work being undertaken by the Bangalore
Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM).
According to an official notification, the power supply will be disrupted
between 11am and 3pm.
The affected localities include areas around Vidhana Soudha, Ganesh Temple RMU,
Millers Road, Jaymahal, MK Street, Cunningham Road, Kemp Road, Benson Town,
Spencer Road, SG Road, Chikka Bazar Road, Geneva House, Thimmaiah Road, Tasker
Town, Muneshwara Nagar, and Shivajinagar, along with nearby areas.

as the temporary outage may cause inconvenience to households and commercial
establishments.
BESCOM has assured that the scheduled maintenance is essential for ensuring a
more reliable power supply in the future. Citizens are encouraged to follow
official updates from the electricity department for any changes to the
schedule or extended downtime. In case of emergency, the citizens are requested
to contact BESCOM on the helpline number 1912.
