BENGALURU, 5 APRIL
Three vehicles parked near the Cantonment Railway Station were reduced to charred wrecks after a fire broke out at approximately 11am on Saturday. The blaze involved a goods vehicle and two towing trucks, which were parked adjacent to a pile of rubbish. Fortunately, there were no reported casualties or injuries. Preliminary investigations indicate the fire may have originated from the garbage heap, potentially ignited by a carelessly discarded cigarette. The flames spread quickly to the nearby vehicles until alert locals raised the alarm. Fire and emergency personnel arrived promptly with two fire tenders and extinguished the blaze; however, the vehicles suffered significant damage. Officials from Bharathinagar Police Station are investigating the incident.
