In a bid to
ensure seamless transportation for fans attending TATA Indian Premier League
(IPL) 2025 matches at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, the Bengaluru Metropolitan
Transport Corporation (BMTC) has announced the launch of special bus services
on match days.
In a
notification released on Friday, BMTC detailed that it will operate buses from
the stadium to numerous key locations throughout the city on 2 April, 10 April,
18 April, 24 April, 3 May, 13 May, and 17 May 2025. The routes will serve areas
including Kadugodi Bus Station (via HAL Road), Sarjapur, Electronic City (via
Hosur Road), Bannerghatta National Park, Janapriya Township (via Magadi Road),
RK Hegde Nagar-Yelahanka (via Nagavara and Tannery Road), Hosakote, and
Banashankari.
The transport corporation has committed to adjusting the frequency and number of buses based on demand and traffic conditions on match days, ensuring a smooth commute for cricket enthusiasts.
