CCB rescues two Women from flesh trade racket
According to the officers, the victims were lured from different villages across the State with the false promise of high-paying jobs in Bengaluru, only to be forced into the flesh trade.

In a significant crackdown on human trafficking, the City Crime Branch (CCB) women protection wing rescued two women from a prostitution ring operating within the Kodigehalli police station limits. Acting on credible intelligence, CCB officials raided a house in the area, where they found the two women locked inside. According to the officers, the victims were lured from different villages across the State with the false promise of high-paying jobs in Bengaluru, only to be forced into the flesh trade. The police have recorded the statements of the rescued women. Based on their complaints, a case has been registered against one woman accused of running the racket. Authorities confirmed that the accused is currently on the run, with efforts underway to trace and arrest her.Leave a Reply
