A 37-year-old IT professional was found dead inside his car near Brookfield, with the HAL police registering a case under the Unnatural Death Report (UDR).

The incident, which occurred on Thursday, came to light following a detailed investigation. According to police reports shared with Salar News, the deceased, Santosh Prasad—a resident of Indiranagar and an employee at a private firm in Bengaluru—was on his way to work when he reportedly experienced chest pain while stuck in traffic.

"He managed to park his car on the roadside but succumbed to cardiac arrest before he could seek help," police stated.

Passers-by and motorists grew concerned after noticing the car stationary for an unusually long time. Upon being alerted, traffic police arrived at the scene, broke the car window, and found Santosh unresponsive. He was declared dead on the spot.

The HAL police confirmed that preliminary investigations suggest a heart attack as the cause of death. Santosh’s family later informed authorities that he also had a history of high blood sugar levels. His body was sent for a post-mortem examination before being handed over to his family.

The incident has sparked concerns over the rising number of cardiac-related deaths among working professionals in the city.
