Vice principal among three arrested for leaking law exam question paper
Investigations revealed that Dr Nagaraj had access to the question paper on his phone, which was allegedly copied by Jagadisha and later circulated to students for a price.

The Cyber Economic
and Narcotics (CEN) police in the City arrested the vice-principal of a law
college and two others for allegedly leaking a law exam question paper on social
media in exchange for money. The accused have been identified as Dr Nagaraj,
vice-principal of Basavashree College of Law in Kolar, his driver and law
student Jagadisha, and Varun Kumar, a student from another law college in
Bangarpet. According to the police, the Contract Law-I question paper,
scheduled for the Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) exam on 23 January, was
leaked on WhatsApp and Telegram groups before the exam. Investigations revealed
that Dr Nagaraj had access to the question paper on his phone, which was
allegedly copied by Jagadisha and later circulated to students for a price. Meanwhile,
Varun Kumar reportedly managed to gain access to sealed question papers a day
before the exam, copied the contents onto his mobile phone, and sold them
online.
