New Year: BMTC to run buses from 11pm to 2am

Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport
Corporation (BMTC) will operate additional buses to facilitate travel for New
Year celebrations in the City on the night of 31 December.
The extended services are designed
to provide a safe, reliable, and affordable transportation option for revellers
heading to and from popular celebration hubs such as MG Road and Brigade Road.
The special bus services will run
from 11pm to 2am, connecting MG Road and Brigade Road to destinations across
Bengaluru. BMTC has also made arrangements for buses to operate from key
transport hubs and junctions, including Kempegowda Bus Station, KR Market,
Shivajinagara, Koramangala, Kadugodi, Kengeri, Sumanahalli, Goraguntepalya,
Yeshwanthapura, Yelahanka, Shanthinagar, Banashankari, Hebbala, and Central
Silk Board.
The corporation has urged residents
to utilise the special services and avoid private vehicles to reduce congestion
and enhance safety. -Salar News
