Rape survivor booked for crashing her car into 2 autos

The Adugodi
traffic police have booked a rape survivor for negligent driving. The woman,
who was allegedly sexually assaulted by a choreographer, is accused of crashing
her car into two parked autorickshaws and fleeing the scene before the
incident.
The incident occurred
around 11:45pm near Mangala Junction when the woman, allegedly under the
influence of alcohol, was returning home with a friend from a pub. According to
the autorickshaw drivers' complaint, the woman took a U-turn and crashed into
their vehicles, before fleeing the scene with her friend.
Speaking to Salar
news, Adugudi traffic police inspector Ashok Kumar said, “The complaint was
registered on the same day by the autorickshaw driver for rash and negligent
driving. Currently, we will put the case on hold.”
The auto driver
chased the car near Forum Mall junction and questioned them about the accident,
but the woman and her friend abandoned the car and escaped, the police said.
The woman later
sought a ride with a choreographer, Mukeshwaran, who assaulted her sexually.
She managed to raise an alarm, forcing the accused to flee. Mukeshwaran was
arrested by the police on Monday.
The traffic police
have booked the woman under sections related to rash driving and failing to
provide information to the police. Salar News
