Bengaluru PG gas cylinder blast claims life of 23-year-old techie
Police said a commercial gas cylinder triggered the explosion and a case has been filed against the PG management.

A 23-year-old software professional was killed and three others injured after a commercial gas cylinder exploded at a paying guest accommodation in Bengaluru’s Kundalahalli on Monday evening, police said.
The blast occurred around 6.15 pm at Seven Hills Sai Co-Living PG, located within the HAL police station limits.
The deceased was identified as Aravind, a native of Ballari, who worked as a senior analyst with Capgemini, police said.
Three other residents suffered injuries and are undergoing treatment at Brookfield Hospital.
The explosion took place in a seven-storey (G+6) building housing 43 rooms. Fire and emergency services, along with local police, rushed to the spot and carried out evacuation and fire-control operations.
Preliminary findings indicate the involvement of a commercial-grade gas cylinder, though the exact cause of ignition is yet to be ascertained, police said.
A case has been registered against the PG management, and further investigation is under way
