Couple killed, three kids injured as car collides with lorry in Hosapete’s Mariyammanapalya; victims identified as Muttappa and Renuka Pujari.

A couple was killed and their three children injured when their car collided with a lorry in Mariyammanapalya in Hosapete taluk on Friday. Police identified the deceased couple as Muttappa Pujari, 35, and his wife Renuka, 30, and their injured children as Anushree, 9, Rupashri, 6, and Khushi, 4. The injured were admitted to a local government hospital at Hosapete. Police said the car in which the Pujari family was travelling in was completely crushed in the accident.
