Snow and rain returned to North India, ending a prolonged dry spell as hills turned white and rain disrupted plains. In J&K, fresh snowfall closed the Srinagar-Jammu highway, halted the Mata Vaishno Devi yatra and led to cancellation of over 20 flights.
