Punjab Assembly paid tributes to Ahmedabad crash victims, ex-Union Minister Dhindsa, AAP MLA Sohal and others during special session.

The Punjab Assembly on Thursday paid tributes to those who died in the Ahmedabad plane crash and veteran Akali leader and former union minister Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa.
The House also paid tributes to AAP MLA Kashmir Singh Sohal,
Abohar businessman Sanjay Verma, and other personalities who passed away
recently.
The two-day special session of the Punjab Assembly began here on
Thursday.
Cabinet minister Aman Arora sought from the Speaker that tributes
be paid to those who died in the Ahmedabad plane crash on 12 June.
AAP MLA Amandeep Singh Musafir sought obituary references for
businessman Verma, who was shot dead on 7 July by three assailants.
A two-minute silence was observed in the memory of the departed
souls.
