Yash unveiled as Raya In first look of ‘Toxic: A fairytale for grown-ups’
The teaser shows Yash in a dark, action-heavy avatar set amid gunfire, hinting at the film’s intense tone.

Kannada superstar Yash has been revealed as Raya in the first official glimpse of 'Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups', unveiled on Thursday to mark the actor’s 40th birthday.
The film, directed by Geetu Mohandas, marks Yash’s first project since the success of 'KGF: Chapter 2'. The teaser, shared by KVN Productions, presents the actor in a grim, action-heavy setting, with the visuals unfolding in a cemetery amid gunfire.
“Get a good look at your danger, Introducing RAYA,” the production house wrote while releasing the teaser.
The makers have earlier announced a strong ensemble cast, featuring Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria in key roles.
Apart from playing the lead, Yash has also co-written and co-produced the film. 'Toxic' is being shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
The technical crew includes cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, music composer Ravi Basrur, editor Ujwal Kulkarni and production designer TP Abid. Action sequences are choreographed by JJ Perry, Anbariv and Kecha Khamphakdee.
