Rukmini Vasanth looks ravishing as Mellisa in ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’

The first-look poster of Rukmini Vasanth from 'Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups' was unveiled on Tuesday, offering a glimpse into her role as Mellisa in the much-anticipated action thriller headlined by Yash.
Shared on the film’s official Instagram handle, the poster features Vasanth walking through a party setting, drawing attention in a turquoise gown paired with a retro updo. The makers introduced her character with the caption: “Introducing Rukmini Vasanth as Mellisa in 'A Toxic Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups'.”
The character reveal follows earlier posters featuring Kiara Advani (Nadia), Huma Qureshi (Elizabeth), Nayanthara (Ganga) and Tara Sutaria (Rebecca).
Director Geetu Mohandas praised Vasanth’s approach to acting in an interview with Variety, describing her as an actor who “processes deeply” and brings intelligence to what remains unsaid on screen.
Produced by Venkat K Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the film has been shot in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. Toxic is slated for a theatrical release on March 19.
