'Two weeks since you left m': Hema Malini on Dharmendra's 90th birthday

Hema Malini paid an emotional tribute to her late husband,
legendary actor Dharmendra, on what would have been his 90th birthday, sharing
memories steeped in love, nostalgia and quiet strength.
Dharmendra passed away at his Juhu residence on 24 November, leaving a void that the actor
and BJP MP continues to feel deeply. Posting a heartfelt message on X, Hema
Malini wrote, "Dharam ji. Happy birthday my dear heart. More than two
weeks have passed since you left me heartbroken, slowly gathering up the pieces
and trying to reconstruct my life, knowing that you will always be with me in
spirit."
Married
in 1980, the iconic duo built a life filled with companionship and cinematic
legacy. They share two daughters, Esha and Ahana, while Dharmendra also has
four children including actors Sunny and Bobby Deol with his first wife,
Prakash Kaur.
Sharing
a series of old photographs captioned "Our happy ‘together’ moments",
Hema Malini reflected on their unforgettable journey. The “Sholay” star said
the "joyful memories" of their life can never fade and continue to
offer her strength.
She
added, "... just reliving those moments bring me great solace and
happiness. I thank God for our lovely years together, for our two beautiful
girls who reaffirm our love for each other and for all the beautiful, happy
memories that will remain with me in my heart. On your birthday, my prayers for
God to grant you the wealth of peace and happiness that you richly deserve for
your humility and goodness of heart and your love for humanity. Happy birthday
dear love."
