After a three-month period of silence following the tragic stampede at Chinnaswamy Stadium, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has shared an emotional message to its fans, reflecting on the loss, promising care, and looking ahead with resolve.

The incident on 4 June, intended to celebrate RCB’s historic maiden IPL title after 18 years, tragically resulted in 11 fatalities as thousands of fans surged towards the venue for free entry. The joy of victory quickly turned to mourning, leading RCB to withdraw from public engagement.

In a poignant social media post addressed to the "12th Men," the team stated, “We were not silent. We were grieving. 4 June changed everything... In our silence, we have been listening, learning, and healing. We return, not with celebration, but with care.”

To honour those lost, RCB announced the establishment of the “26 Care Centre” near Chinnaswamy Stadium, intended to provide emotional and logistical support to fans.

“We’ve learned hard lessons. And now, we choose to stand by our fans—not just with words, but with action,” the team affirmed.
