BENGALURU, 9 JULY

The State government has signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bengaluru-based real estate firm Embassy Group to enhance 40 government schools across the city. Effective from May 2025 to April 2028, the £1.4 million (Rs 15 crore) initiative aims to provide educational resources, infrastructure upgrades, and health programmes.  Embassy will supply learning kits, run programmes in Maths, English, Kannada, and Sports, and offer after-school academic support. The initiative also includes scholarships, mentorship, career guidance, and support for guest and full-time teachers. School infrastructure will be improved through repairs, new buildings, and daily maintenance. Officials hailed the partnership—first established in 2018—as a model for long-term, sustainable development in education. Embassy hopes to inspire similar collaborations in future.
