PM’s Principal Secy visits HAL to review projects
PM’s Principal Secretary Dr PK Mishra reviewed HAL’s LCA Tejas projects, praising progress on Mk 1A and India’s push for defence self-reliance.

Principal
Secretary to the Prime Minister, Dr PK Mishra, visited Hindustan Aeronautics
Limited (HAL) to review key indigenous defence projects. Accompanied by HAL CMD
DK Sunil and board members, he began his visit at the LCA Mk 2 hangar at the
Aircraft Research and Design Centre, later inspecting the LCA Tejas Assembly
Hangar and Aerospace Division. HAL showcased six LCA Mk 1A fighters and two Mk
1 trainers, reaffirming its commitment to lead future multi-stakeholder programmes.
Mishra reviewed production progress on the Tejas Mk 1A and praised HAL’s role
in advancing self-reliant defence capabilities. He also visited Tata
Electronics’ semiconductor fabrication plant and social infrastructure projects
developed by DICDL. In a review meeting, Mishra emphasised timely completion,
quality execution, and stakeholder-centric planning across key connectivity and
industrial projects.
