The village of Kittanahalli has been rocked
by a suspected premeditated theft, with three cows stolen from outside a local
residence under the jurisdiction of Madanayakanahalli police station in
Bengaluru Rural district.
The stolen cattle belonged to farmer
Krishnappa, who owns a total of twelve cows valued at approximately Rs 2.5
lakh. The incident is believed to have taken place late on Thursday night while
the animals were tied up outside his house. Among the stolen cows, one was due
to calve in two months, while the other two were vital to the family's income.

thieves loading the cows into a vehicle before fleeing the scene. Preliminary
investigations suggest that the gang may have surveilled the area for several
days prior to executing the theft under the cover of darkness.
Villagers report that a gang dedicated to
cattle theft has been operating locally, specifically targeting cows left tied
outside homes overnight. As a result, residents are calling for enhanced police
patrols and stricter enforcement measures.
A case has been registered at the Madanayakanahalli police station, with investigations ongoing and police reviewing CCTV footage in an attempt to identify the suspects.
