A tragic incident unfolded in Bellandur on Saturday morning, where a 26-year-old woman, identified as Mallamma, was discovered dead at her home, and police are treating it as a suspected suicide.

The Bellandur police conducted an initial investigation and learned that Mallamma, originally from Raichur district, had been married to Basavaraju, a cab driver, for over six years, and the couple had three children together. Relatives reported that she had been uneasy about her husband's recent behaviour, confiding her worries to her parents shortly before her death.

Authorities have sent the body for an autopsy and await the arrival of Mallamma’s parents from Raichur before proceeding with further investigations based on their statements.
