An 11-year-old boy has succumbed to
dengue fever at a private hospital in Bengaluru on Saturday. Gagan, a resident
of Anjanapura on the outskirts of Bengaluru, has been under treatment for
dengue fever for the past few days.
When contacted by Salar News, one
of the Chief Health Officers (CHO) of BBMP was unaware of the death that
happened in the City on Saturday and the other CHO did not respond to calls.

the State went up to six.
Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao
urged the citizens of Bengaluru to join hands with Health Department in
controlling dengue. "Dengue cases can be prevented by keeping your house
and surrounding public areas clean as cleanliness is health," he wrote on
‘X’ platform.
With the surge
in dengue cases in Bengaluru, BJP MP CN Manjunath urged Congress-led
State government to declare a medical emergency. The government should
