Darshan's fan arrested for threatening film producer

BENGALURU, 25 JUNE
The City police on Tuesday arrested
a fan of actor Darshan for threatening film producer Umapathy Gowda and Kannada
actor Pratham over their comments on the Renukaswamy murder case.
The court had directed the
Basaveshwara Nagar police to register an FIR against the accused, Chethan, from
Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. The police are also searching for another accused
Nagesh, who is a fan of Darshan. Gowda and Pratham had written social media
posts against the actor and showed their support for Renukaswamy, 33, who was
allegedly kidnapped, tortured and killed by Darshan and his partner Pavithra
Gowda and 15 others.
Chethan has made a public apology
on social media for his actions. Several fans have also released videos warning
people of dire consequences if they speak against the actor. -Salar News
