3 five star hotels in City receive hoax bomb threat
The police, following a complaint, carried out searches and concluded it was a hoax and the police have stepped up a probe to identify the source of the mail

Two weeks after schools and
hospitals received the hoax bomb threat, three hotels in the City received hoax
threat emails in the early hours of Thursday.
The Deputy Commissioner of South East C K Baba said, "In the early hours, three five-star hotels in Bengaluru received hoax bomb threat emails from an email address under the name “daudee jiwal.” The emails claimed to be from the son of a senior IPS officer, accusing his father of colluding with Pakistan-based ISI and a Tamil Nadu political family to orchestrate bombings to divert attention from a drug scandal involving the Tamil Nadu political family.”
The top cop said email also
suggested that the hotels be evacuated by 2.30 p.m. The police, following a
complaint, carried out searches and concluded it as a hoax and the police have
stepped up a probe to identify the source of the mail.
Speaking about the increased Hoax bomb threats in the
city. City Commissioner B Dayananda said, “ The police have registered 27 FIRs
in connection with the hoax bomb threats alone. The threats email sent to the
city have used proxy servers and masked virtual private networks (VPN). We have sought Interpol’s help to locate the
address as the VPN providers have not responded positively to our request to
locate the address.” Salar News
