BENGALURU, 6 MARCH

The City has been grappling with a series of hoax bomb threats over the past six months, with the most recent incident occurring on 5 March. He mentioned that despite reaching out to Google, no serious response has been received yet, and efforts are underway to cooperate with international agencies to address the issue.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, along with Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar received a threatening email sent by an individual named Shahid Khan. The email threatened large-scale explosions targeting buses, trains, temples, hotels, and public areas throughout Karnataka if a demanded amount was not provided.

It mentioned busy locations such as restaurants, temples, buses, or trains, and singled out Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, the state home minister, and the Bengaluru police chief as potential targets. Regarding the Rameshwaram bomb blast case, Minister Parameshwara stated that efforts are being made to arrest the accused soon. The Central Crime Branch and the National Investigation Agency are collaborating on the investigation. Salar News
