Mandya protests bad roads with unique 'Pothole Deepavali'

Fed up with pothole-ridden roads, Mandya celebrated 'Pothole Deepavali' this year. In a symbolic protest, residents of KR Pete lit lamps & placed garlands inside gaping craters to draw attention to how life-threatening the roads are.
