One World, One Family Orchestra ends 100 day fest

The finale featured over 450 musicians from 60 countries, closing a 100-day cultural festival held for Sathya Sai Baba’s centenary.

The unique One World One Family Orchestra, Symphony of Unity, enthralled the audience with their over three-hour-long rendition at the Sai Krishnan Stadium in Muddenahalli to mark the culmination of the 100-day mega cultural festival.


The orchestra comprised over 450 globally acclaimed musicians from over 60 countries, along with a 70-member choir and two hundred young students of the Sai Symphony Orchestra.  


The festival coinciding with the centenary birth anniversary of Sathya Sai Baba began on 16 August and concluded on Sunday.


Several religious leaders, artists, political leaders, corporate heads, humanitarians participated in the event as a mark of respect to the spiritual guru.  


As part of the 100-day long centenary celebrations, free hospitals were launched and free cardiac surgeries were conducted. 126 Sai Swasthya Wellness Centres were launched in various places of the state.


Eminent personalities from different walks of life and hailing from different countries received accolades for their achievement during the event.  Artistes from over 100 nations showcased their country's arts and culture during the festival. Religious preachers also addressed the gathering on the occasion.


President of Fiji, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu, who spoke during the valedictory function said love and peace are the need of the hour and the Sai Sathya Sai Foundation has been successful in spreading the message across every nook and corner of the globe within a span of 13 years. .    


Sadguru Sai Madhusudhan remarked that the foundation is committed to spreading the message of peace and love of Sathya Babu to the entire world while working tirelessly in the health and education sectors.
