Dasara dog show pull massive crowds in Mysuru

Mysuru, 28 Sept

The Cute Pets Show, held at JK Grounds as part of the Mysuru Dasara 2025 festivities, drew huge crowds on Sunday.

Organised by the Raitha Dasara Sub-Committee, the event saw participation from hundreds of pet owners and featured 45 dog breeds, including desi favourites like Mudhol hounds and Rajapalayam, alongside exotic breeds like St Bernard, Chihuahua, and German Shepherd. Cats and lovebirds also featured.

Prizes were awarded for best exotic and desi breeds based on charm and agility, judged by experts. Sick animals and those under the Wildlife Act were not permitted. Facilities included water and first aid.
