KSRTC to operate 1,500 special buses from Bengaluru for Ganesha festival rush
The premier services will also be provided from BMTC Bus Station at Shantinagar (TTMC) to Tamil Nadu and Kerala destinations including Madurai, Kumbakonam, and Chennai.

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has
announced it will run 1,500 special buses from Bengaluru to various destinations
across the state to accommodate the increased demand during the Gowri and
Ganesha festivities on 26 and 27 August.
In addition to regular schedules, special bus services will also
be available on 31 August, a Sunday, the corporation stated in a press release.
Buses will depart from Kempegowda Bus Station in Bengaluru to key
locations including Dharmasthala, Kukke Subramanya, Shivamogga, Hassan,
Mangaluru, Kundapura, Sringeri, Horanadu, Davangere, Hubballi, Dharwad,
Belagavi, Vijayapura, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Ballari,
Koppal, Yadgir, Bidar, and to Tirupati, Vijayawada, and Hyderabad.
Additionally, special services from Mysuru Road Bus Station will
focus on destinations such as Mysuru, Hunsur, Periyapatna, Virajpet,
Kushalnagar, and Madikeri.
The premier services will also be provided from BMTC Bus Station
at Shantinagar (TTMC) to Tamil Nadu and Kerala destinations including Madurai,
Kumbakonam, and Chennai.
Further services will be initiated from taluk and district bus
stands based on demand, the release noted. Passengers can book tickets online
at www.ksrtc.karnataka.gov.in.
