According to police sources, two Bangladeshi men acting suspiciously in

interrogation, they claimed to be rag pickers and revealed that several of
their acquaintances were living in various camps near Nandagudi, all engaged in
the same occupation. Following this, a police team promptly visited Nandagudi
and detained another ten individuals, four of whom were children.
This situation was reported to B Nikhil, Superintendent of Police for Kolar district, and the Assistant Commissioner for the Kolar Sub-division, who directed the transfer of the detainees to the aforementioned centres. Police Inspector Mehaboob Pasha noted that of the eight adults apprehended, two had been illegally residing in India for several years.
