Chikkaballapur to host mega cultural fest for 100 days from 16 Aug

Chikkaballapur, 12 Aug
Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli in
Chikkaballapur district will host a mega cultural festival from 16 August,
uniting artists from over 100 countries for 100 days to promote ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (one world,
one family).
Each day will highlight a different nation through talks by renowned speakers, a discourse by founder Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, humanitarian awards, and cultural performances. The event will also include various spiritual ceremonies like Ati Rudra Maha Yajna and Durga Puja during Navaratri.
During the festival, the world’s largest
free private rural hospital will also be inaugurated, to mark the birth
Centenary Celebration of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
The Sai Symphony World Orchestra will perform
at the event, bringing together 400 musicians from 40 countries, including 170
children from India’s largest school orchestra, in a performance of harmony and
hope. The World Religions Summit, similarly, will gather leaders across faiths
for interfaith dialogue on shared values.
The event will conclude on the 23 November.
