Mysuru MP inspects construction of Unity Mall

MYSURU, 28 JULY
Mysuru MP Yaduveer Wadiyar on Monday supervised the construction of the Unity Mall project at the Dasara Exhibition Grounds at Doddakere here.
The MP inspected the initial stages of construction works underway at the mall, which is coming up on 6.5 acres of land.
Wadiyar said that construction works on the centrally funded project would be completed by the end of 2027.
The project, worth Rs 192.99 crore, is being implemented by Karnataka State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC).
This mall, also known as Ekta Mall, will be built in the Indo-Saracenic style. The three-storied mall will have a food counter, bar and restaurant, restroom, conference room, prayer hall, kids’ play area, a gallery for paintings, commercial stores and a wrestling room. The mall will have 99 sections for different purposes.
Handicrafts from across the country will be displayed in shops in the mall. Locally made products and those having Geographical Identification will also be available here. The architectural design of the mall will reflect India’s unity and grandeur, incorporating elements that include grand facades and atriums.
