State appoints IAS officer as Chief Electoral Officer

The State government has appointed IAS officer Sri V Anbukkumar as the Chief Electoral Officer of Karnataka.

The State government has appointed IAS officer Sri V Anbukkumar as the Chief Electoral Officer of Karnataka and E/O Secretary to the Government, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Elections), Bengaluru, according to a government release. Anbukkumar was serving as the Secretary Housing Department when he was transfered. He also served as the Managing Director at the KSRTC, Central Office.
