3 dead, 5 hospitalised in Karnataka with diarrhoea symptoms
A health officer in Yadgir said the deceased were suffering from various other diseases and their deaths may not be directly linked to water contamination.

Yadgir, 7 July
Three people have died and about five were hospitalised in the last one week due to symptoms of diarrhoea and vomiting, allegedly after consuming contaminated water in Tippanadagi village in Yadgir district, official sources said on Monday.
However, a health officer in Yadgir said the deceased were suffering from various other diseases and their deaths may not be directly linked to water contamination.
He, however, said five people with symptoms of diarrhoea and vomiting were hospitalised and now their condition is stable.
A team of health officials has camped in the village and is monitoring the situation.
