SRINIVASAPUR, 4 JULY

A 31-year-old woman named Mangamma lost her life in a horrific accident at the farms of former speaker and Congress leader KR Ramesh Kumar in Bhoomireddypalli, Kolar village this morning. Reports indicate that she had been employed by Kumar's family just three days prior to the incident. Mangamma arrived on-site around 9.00am and was feeding grass into a high-tech cutting machine along with other workers. Tragically, at approximately 11.00am, her clothing became entangled with one of the machine’s angled wheels, dragging her into the machinery. Despite colleagues’ swift actions to switch off the machine, it was too late, and she was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Gownipalli Police Station Inspector Shivakumar. The farm, situated between Bhoomireddypalli and Hosahudya village, has been equipped with advanced machinery for cattle feed production.
