Taking strong objections to the Congress holding Sadhana Samavesha, former deputy chief minister and BJP leader CN Ashwath Narayana described the only achievement of the State government was making the life of common people miserable. 

Speaking at a press conference at the District BJP Office, he said that the State Congress government, which came to power by making false accusations of corruption against the BJP government, now itself indulged in corruption, and was looting the State, he said.

The only achievements of Congress were the appeasement of Muslims, protecting anti-nationals involved in raising pro-Pakistan slogans, handing over farmers land to State Waqf board and granting four percent reservation to Muslims in civil contracts against constitution.  

Narayana accused Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of holding Sadhana Samaveshwa in Hospet to cover failures of his government, mis governance, KPSC questions  paper  leakage, and involvement in scandals in Maharshi Valmiki Development Corporation. 

Narayana charged that development works had come to grinding halt over the past two years as government was focused on guarantee scheme. State borrowing increased to Rs 7 lakh crores, he added.
