Fire accident in Hunsur injures five

MYSURU, 17 MAY

A fire accident caused by a cooking gas cylinder leak left five individuals injured, including three neighbouring residents, at Ningaraju's home in Kalkunike Colony, Hunsur, on Saturday. The injured parties have been identified as Ningaraju, his wife Jyothi, and neighbours Raniyamma, Sheela, and Nagamma, who attempted to help. All five were swiftly transported to the burns ward at KR Hospital in Mysuru. Following the incident, local MLA GD Harishgowda visited the injured and pledged to assist with their medical expenses from his personal funds. The Hunsur Town Police have registered a case regarding the incident.
