CM to launch ₹2,025 crore projects in Bidar on Wednesday

BIDAR, 14 April
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will lay the foundation stone
for development projects worth Rs 2,025 crore in Bidar Wednesday, said Minister
Eshwar Khandre.
He will also address a mega rally at Nehru Stadium, expected
to draw over 50,000 attendees
He will inaugurate and lay foundations for multiple
initiatives, including reviving the Bidar–Bengaluru civil aviation service,
supported by Rs 14 crore from Kalyana Karnataka Region Development Board.
Though services begin 15 April, a symbolic inauguration will occur on 17 April.
Key inaugurations include 220 kV substations in Nagur and
Santpur (Rs 114 crore), works under Bidar and Bhalki municipalities (Rs 49
crore), 400 houses by the Slum Clearance Board (Rs 23 crore), and a cardiac
care unit and cath lab at BRIMS (Rs 15.11 crore).
Foundation stones will be laid for the Rs 582-crore Mehkar
Lift Irrigation Project, multi-village water projects (Rs 330 crore), park
rejuvenation (Rs 100 crore), drainage upgrades (Rs 80 crore), and a
bridge-cum-barrage in Aurad taluk (Rs 70 crore).
Other developments include a district administration complex (Rs 48 crore), administrative buildings in new taluks (Rs 25 crore), Honnikeri eco-tourism (Rs 15 crore), a 150-bed hospital in Bhalki (Rs 16 crore), sports complexes (₹15 crore), and Bhalki RTO office and test track.
