Bidar, 3 March
The deputy director of the Department of School Education and Literacy, Saleem
Pasha, has directed all block education officers (BEOs) in Bidar district to
withhold the April salary of government school headmasters who fail to complete
the online tasks assigned by the state government.
Tasks such as Apar
progress updates, Aadhaar verification, Dropbox student data entry, updating
student details and submitting the teachers' database report need to be
completed online.
Login credentials
for these tasks have been provided to the respective headmasters. Those who
fail to complete the process will not receive their April salary, Pasha, told
Salar News.
Despite several
alerts, some headmasters have failed to complete these tasks. This has forced
the District Project Coordinator (DPC) of Samagra Shiksha Karnataka, who is also
the Deputy Director of Public Instruction (DDPI) to take action, Pasha said.
In 2024, Bidar
district ranked last in online student data entry, which evoked the action by
the DPC.
Pasha also said that Bidar district, which was at the bottom of the list in online data entry, is making progress.
